Guarantee
I. Limited 3-Year Warranty
QUASAR WHEELS (hereinafter referred to as “Quasar”) offers its customers a limited 3-year warranty on all wheels (hereinafter referred to as “products”) purchased from Quasar or an official Quasar dealer.
Quasar guarantees that all new products are free from manufacturing and material defects (hereinafter referred to as “defects”) for the first three years from the date of purchase by the consumer through the Quasar Wheels online store or an authorized Quasar dealer (hereinafter referred to as the “warranty period”). This warranty applies only to the original purchaser of the product and is non-transferable. Only defects that are identified and reported to Quasar or a registered Quasar dealer within the warranty period are valid. This warranty is only valid in the country where the product was purchased, as Quasar intends for the product to be sold in that specific country. This warranty is in addition to and does not limit the statutory provisions of the country where the product was sold. The warranty period is not extended, renewed, or otherwise affected by subsequent resale, repair, or replacement of the product, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
II. Terms and Limitations
The warranty does not cover:
- Wear and tear components, including: brake pads, rim tape, freehub, braking surface, pawls, springs, bearings, and decorative elements.
- Damage caused by installing incompatible components.
- Damage resulting from improper assembly or installation of the product.
- Defects or damage caused by misuse or poor maintenance.
- Damage resulting from modifications to the product.
- Any impact caused by sharp objects, torsion, compression, falls, abnormal impact, or other actions beyond Quasar’s reasonable control.
The warranty becomes void if:
- The product has been modified or repaired by a person or entity other than an authorized Quasar representative.
- The product has been repaired using unauthorized spare parts.
- The product’s serial number has been removed, altered, or is illegible.
- The product was provided as part of a sponsorship agreement.
III. Warranty Claims
Quasar or a registered Quasar dealer will repair or replace the defective product free of charge. For all warranty claims, the consumer must provide the product and proof of purchase to Quasar or a registered Quasar dealer. To facilitate a quick and efficient service, we kindly ask you to remove all accessories before sending your product, including tires, inner tubes, cassettes, axles, computer magnets, etc. Quasar is not responsible for any lost or damaged accessories and may charge a fee for their removal. The cost of shipping the product to the dealer or Quasar, as well as any related transport insurance, is the responsibility of the consumer.
IV. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by local law, and except for the obligations specifically stated in this warranty declaration, Quasar or third-party suppliers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of expected profits
- Loss of use or income
- Costs of replacement equipment or facilities
- Third-party claims
- Property damage resulting from the purchase or use of the product
This applies regardless of whether such damages arise from a breach of warranty, contract violation, negligence, strict liability, or any legal or equitable theory, even if Quasar was aware of the possibility of such damages. Quasar is not responsible for any delays in warranty service.
